Summertime

Posted on July 3, 2024July 1, 2024 by Virtual Afro Woman

It is now officially summer. What is your plan for the summer season? How are you spending your time? What energy will you allow into your life? What energy will you give off? We have the power to decide what will happen for us in this season. I myself choose to create a peace for myself. I am allowing myself to breath and reset.

After last summer ended, my stress levels have been increasing at the work level. I love my career, but in the spring, I made the decision to create a space of peace for this summer. I worked too hard in my career to dislike it, so the decision was made. I would give myself a break. I don’t take off much from work, but as someone who works with children full-time now was the time. In the last few years, there was one thing after another happening, with the majority being good. But, I am now rewarding myself with a break.

So, think about it? How have you been feeling? Assess what around you has brought on some type of stress and see if you too can work to create peace. Of course there are some things you can’t fully control such as your kids, but you can always find ways to modify the energy surrounding it. For this month’s challenge this is what I wanted to share. Try to create peace around your life any way you can. The people we surround ourself with and the places we go all creates an energy in our life. Summer is a time to be outside energy life, but who and where you decide to go can influence it. Be wise and do what’s right for you. Happy summer!
