Spirit, Rain Down on Me

Posted on August 9, 2024August 9, 2024 by Virtual Afro Woman

This past week along the East Coast, the weather has been very rainy. Hurricanes have been hitting some of the states in the southern region. After many weeks of hot and humid weather, the rain has now been coming down a lot. There is spiritual meaning behind rain, and they include Renewal, Growth, and Transformation.

We know the Earth needs rain to nurture its plants and flowers. But have you ever thought about us as humans needing the rain as well. With it, there is Renewal, that allows for the rebuilding of something in our life that appears to be broken or rundown. Growth in that nothing can grow instantly, but with care and patience, we can reach our goals. And Transformation because this is key as we get older; we are constantly changing and when it’s in the positive, we can do all things we set our minds on.

I know the rain is very important, but if I could always stay in the house during these times, I would. The rain forces me to sit and relax as well as focus on things that need to be done, and not just engage in simple pleasures. We are constantly on the move in our day-to-day life. Sometimes we just need to sit and undergo this idea of Renewal, Growth, and Transformation. When this happens, the outcomes we least expect to happen can become our reality.

So, on this Friday, which is the last day of expected rain for the week, how about you sit down and think about it. Manifest what you want to happen after the rain because with the sun there are always brighter days ahead for you.
