The year was 2026. It was the year where any negative thoughts about yourself will go out the window. It was the year where we shall all declare… on my mama, I look good! January is Self-Love Awareness month. We see so many images and videos on how one person looks compared to another. We hear so much talk about what’s popular and what’s not. I declare for myself and I hope you do the same, that this is the year to appreciate the person you are. The one who was created to take up space in this world.
There may have been moments when you didn’t like your clothing size whether big or small. It could have been the moment when you felt shy to speak up for yourself. Or, it could have been that time you didn’t have the confidence to pursue a new venture for fear of what others think. Well, guess what, it’s 2026 and you will throw all this out of the window.
You were created to be unique, to be your own person. The time is now for you to lift your head up as you walk in confidence. The time is now to put it on your mama, because you look good both on the inside and outside. You are great and 2026 is the year to live in your truth and show up for yourself.
