When one woman, Susan, writes a best seller about corruption in her home country of Barbados, she is exiled for many years leaving behind the mystery of what became of her life after this time. So, fifty years later when she decides to tell her story, she chooses a young woman name, Lia, from her homeland who inspires to be an author but who wants to understand why she quit writing books . I enjoyed this book and the ride along to learn of earlier times in the country with stories about Susan’s childhood, family, love, and corruption. I hope you enjoy the selection and let us know if you liked it.
