Debuting in 2021, “The Other Black Girl” by Zakiya Dalila Harris is a great thriller/suspense novel taking on the world of publishing from the perspective of the only or one of very few black woman at the company. From start to finish this book will keep you interested as to why some companies lack diversity; they may put the small group of black women against each other and/or hire only to make it appear as if the setting is diverse. You will love this book and I would like to know what you think of it along the way of reading it or after you finish.
