A young adult novel that touches on the topic of generational trauma, foster care, substance abuse, and coming of age. In the book we meet Raven, an only child whose young cousin comes to live with her family after being removed from her aunt’s home by family services. We see how her home has changed following this and how she handles it all while navigating life at school.
