These last 3 years have been very interesting to say the least, but it has been a blessing in disguise because I’m still here and some good things have come out of it all. For the past 9 years, I have been making goals each year, and in the beginning it was hard trying to make it through at least 2 of them each year and in the last 5 years I have been meeting more of them. So in 2021, I got the idea to start a blog, now it is 2023 already and this is my first post, so you can see how hard it is sometimes to reach your goals each year. The reason for starting this blog is because in the last 3 years, I’ve come to realize how important self care is as well as how important it is to have a small tight circle of people around whether family or friends due to COVID isolation and me still not being comfortable around a lot of people; plus, I’ve never been a social media girl. I like people and being around them, but never enjoyed posting about my thoughts and especially not with pictures. This blog will include monthly challenges, monthly book recommendations, exercise recommendations and experiences, financial information, love/relationship check ins, fashion options, and weekly mental health unwinds along with a few other things.
So whether you have a small community of family/friends you want to do this together with, or just want to be a part of my small community here, cheers to this new partnership.
