Today March 8th is International Women’s Day. A day to honor the fight for civil rights and awareness of the many issues women across the world face each day. For today, focusing on the positive, I ask the question…
WHAT IS YOUR SUPERPOWER?
We cannot be defined like fictional characters with the ability to fly or to scale a building. But we have so many unique traits that we should be proud of. I have the power of observation. I’m a great observer who can pick up on how someone feels and/or their personality traits. I have the power of education. I had a dream as a child of what I wanted to do and with the help of many over the years, I’m living the modified version that turned out better. And no one can take this from me. I have the power of commonality. It doesn’t matter what cultural group differences I have with another. I can always find our similarities. On a lighter side, I also have the power of finding a sale on clothing that is of good quality. I love shopping. So, on this day I want all my fellow women to think of all the things that make you great.
