Holiday Movie Marathon

Posted on December 16, 2025December 15, 2025 by Virtual Afro Woman

‘Tis the season in which I love the most. A time to spread love, joy, and peace. Watching movies that incorporate this is always a fun addition. This year, there have been some good movies so far. In counting down the 15 days left in 2025, here are a few movie selections to get you into the holiday season.

Starz- Unexpected Christmas

When a family’s annual Christmas gathering takes place, we see the recent ex of one woman show up with her sister. What we see is a lot of competition along with reflection.

Lifetime- Deck the Hallways

When a woman returns for Christmas to spend time with her recently widowed grandmother, she sees a lot of changes. Changes in her grandmother’s lifestyle as well as that of the neighbors she grew up with. Next, we see her attempts at bringing back some of the old holiday traditions for all to enjoy.

Netflix- My Secret Santa

When her daughter gets invited to participate in a snowboarding camp, a mother has to figure out how to pay. She then dresses up as man in a Santa costume to work at the resort to help pay for the fee.

Lifetime- Jingle All the Way to Love

A lawyer who’s engaged seeks to find a missed love connection from years before by participating in a radio show. What happens is a reflection of love, career chooses, and overall happiness.

Lifetime- Christmas Everyday

A fashion designer tries to keep her father’s holiday traditions alive. Balancing her possible promotion, helping to plan her sister’s wedding, dealing with renovations to her family’s home, helping her mother cope with visual impairment, and trying to balance a relationship, it begins to take a toll. The movie takes us on this journey to see how she makes it out.

Netflix– A Merry Little Ex-Mas

When a separated couple tries to keep the family traditions alive by celebrating together, we learn some personal secrets, but we also get reflections of the good times in the past.

I hope you like these movies as much as I did. Cozy up with your blanket and enjoy them all!
