Grateful for Life

Posted on November 29, 2024November 29, 2024 by Virtual Afro Woman

We are now one day post Thanksgiving. It’s the last Friday of the month that has one day left. In this month of gratitude, I expressed that of time, family, and education. Today, I want to express being grateful for life. I woke up today. I was able to spend time with family yesterday to celebrate another Thankgiving. And, I’m even though I am tired right now, from staying up late the last 2 days, I am here living.

Each day when I watch the news, I see stories of tragedies taking place around the world. People who are no longer here. We know we have a time to leave this world that is unknown to us. For today, I was chosen to see another day. As I woke up I was grateful. As I eat the food I have available to me, I am grateful. I am grateful for having more time to work towards my goals. And, I am grateful for being alive today and having a day off from work to rest.

So, on this day, you also have a life to live, what are you doing to show your gratitude? How will you live this day you were choosen to be here for?
