Do You Remember? (Welcome September)

Posted on September 2, 2024September 2, 2024 by Virtual Afro Woman

Can you believe it is September already? Time is flying. Summer is coming to an end soon and the daylight hours will be getting shorter. But that doesn’t mean the time is over for doing great things and creating the energy around you to match it. Let’s take the time to think back to the start of the summer. What plans did you have for yourself? Do you remember…

What goals you set up for yourself?

Which of these goals did you met?

In creating my summer of peace, I took some time off from work and I can’t say I failed in creating this. I had time to travel. I had time to rest. Working on my passion projects/small business was a plus. And, I had time with people who are important to me. My stress levels were at an all-time low. At the start of summer, I traveled alone, and was stranded overnight in another state. I was even put into a hotel by the airline. I allowed myself to remain calm in this situation and met a few nice people during this time. In having more unexpected events to market my small business items, I took my time to create inventory without stress. Overall, I can say having an extended time away from responsibilities, there was nothing that could steal my joy.

       With today being September 2nd, 2024, here’s a question to ask yourself…

What goals will take you a little longer to meet?

How can you work on them in the fall?

For myself, at the start of the year, I lost my second stream of income due to closure of the facility. I have then allowed myself to work on this small business and I would like to figure out how to promote it online. A someone who has never been a fan of social media, I must force myself to get to a place to use it in a way that does not disturb my peace but helps promote what I do. Also, I have been slacking off on my yoga and other fitness routines this summer and I must recommit myself to doing it more often.

I wish you all a beautiful September. Remember to set your intentions and continue to be the great person that you are.
