Daddy Lessons

Posted on June 5, 2024June 4, 2024 by Virtual Afro Woman

There are many men who navigate the world. Many of them set goals to be great and live life with a purpose. Many of them eventually become great in the eyes of those they nurture into being great. This includes their kids, nieces, nephews, friends, and any other person they choose to love and care for. The qualities these men possess includes…

  • Teaching powerful lessons to others especially the youth/those under them.
  • Helping when others are in need even when they are not asked to do so.
  • Speaking to others and treating them respectfully.
  • Standing up for those who are vulnerable.
  • Teaching others how to be leaders, especially other men.
  • Spend time and not just money with those they love
  • Shows their emotions in different ways.

So, for this Father’s Day, let’s think about the men in our lives who show some of these qualities and honor them. Let them know they are appreciated. Let them know they too are loved. The picture of a good father is not always seen in the world, but they are out there. If we were to see more images of these men in action, maybe this can help change the world for the better. So many times, we see men being tough, but sometimes showing their softer side can help send a message to future generations and how they navigate their masculinity. Below you will find some ideas to give a small token of appreciation to these men.
