This month we celebrate Juneteenth which has only been recognized here in America for the years following George Floyd’s death. So, in honor of our ancestors, I want to create a challenge that promotes how far we have come in this country as Afro people in business. Let’s support black owned businesses whether this includes local restaurants, clothing stores/fashion lines, beauty brands, etc. Our dollars contribute so much to our economy but we are still behind when it comes to maintaining a successful businesses, so let’s show our business owners some love.
