For the last 10 years, at the end of each year, I create goals for myself in the upcoming year. I write them in my phone because it’s a place I check frequently and I can hold myself accountable for working towards meeting them. I try not to list to many goals so I can keep focused and sometimes too many can be overwhelming when goals are not met but by having 5-6 goals, If I succeed at 3 or 4 of them, I am proud of myself. In the last 3 years I even included my now husband in creating a list of ‘Together goals.’
The challenge for this December, the last month of the year, is to sit down and think of ways to honor yourself in the upcoming year by setting goals. Below you will find my list from last year as an example because no item is off limits as long as it’s important you. In the charts you have a space or boxes to check off goals as they are reached, so let’s get started in making our list as the month just started but it’s almost over already. 🙂
