Here in NY we were the original epicenter of COVID and since that time our stress levels have been very high. One technique that could be used to help with stress is meditation. Now meditation in the past was a little easier as we only had to move ourselves away from other people; but now we have more than just people, we have phones, tablets, and other devices to distract us. So, to start off our first monthly challenge, how about we spend 30 minutes to an hour a day to show some love to ourselves. We shall turn off our phone (or silence it), turn off the TV, shut down our computers/laptops, and if you have kids find a time they are sleep to just close your eyes, look at a picture/a wall, listen to calming music, or maybe even read a book away from “distractions”.
