Slide It to the Left

Posted on March 10, 2025March 9, 2025 by Virtual Afro Woman

Yesterday was Daylight Savings time. We lost an hour of sleep, but we are gaining more time to enjoy the sunlight. There will be longer days to enjoy the outdoors. We will gain more energy from the sunrays to engage in activities we love. As we move toward this light, now is the time to slide the negative to the left.

Removing any baggage that puts too much weight on your spirit is something to rid yourself of as we go into warmer days. We must recognize we are the light. Being the captain of your ship and moving along the sea with positivity is the key to having a beautiful spring.

To help in setting the tone to make this happen, below you will find some positive mantras to start with.

  • I will let go of all that does not positively serve me.
  • Everyday is a new opportunity for greatness.
  • I am stronger than the negative thoughts.
  • The past shall no longer be a source of my pain.
  • I shall forgive myself for any mistakes I made yesterday.
  • I love myself just the way I am.

Again, slide the negative to the left, but continue to move in the right direction to make the most of your Daylight Savings time.
